participation
Leveling
Maiden horses may begin competiting at any level. Once that level is decided upon, a show horse must earn 3 first places in an individual discipline at an exact level to move on. If a race horse finishes in the top three once in a maiden or allowance race, they may move up; if they finish in the top two in graded company, they may move up.
Limitations
Horses may compete at fourth level or higher in but a single type. Show horses may compete in no more than one show per day; they are also limited to six saddle classes per day. Race horses may compete in no more than one race per three days; they are also limited to one race per meet. Endurance racers competing in Limited Distance & Open Distance I are limited to three events per month, with a minimum of seven days between events. Endurance racers competing in Open Distance II and beyond are limited to two events per month, with a minimum of ten days between events. Competitive abuse is especial ground for confiscation of animals.
