Welcome to Volte's Sain et Sauf [SES].
The SES was created as an in-game exporting option for all members. In an effort to support our economy, the SES was established as a safehaven, of sorts, for horses needing downtime.
Members are not allowed to send horses to the Humane Society unless they are leaving Volte. Thus, the SES exists to serve that purpose. Whether the market is just too poor, you're close to your ownership-limits, what have you - the SES may be a good option for you and your horses.
Any owner can send a horse to the SES. While here, they cannot compete or be shown nor will you have to pay for feed and health care. While at the SES, the horse does not lose any previous records or points; the horse will remain in the Equine Archive, but will temporarily be listed as owned by the SES. For all intensive purposes, the horse is considered "exported," although they are actually still in the game.

Why might one use the SES?
Have a horse you can't seem to sell? Just plain too many horses at one time? Don't want to lose all your points by exporting the horse to a completely new game? Then the SES is for you.

How much does it cost to send a horse to SES?
A one time fee of $1000 per horse must be paid. There is no fee for retrieving your horse from SES. Please send all checks to the Humane Society.

When can I get my horse back from SES?
You can let your horse rest at the SES for one day or one year - there is no time limit. However, it is advised that visiting horses stay a minimum of one month. However, that is not an enforced rule.

How many horses can I send to the SES at once?
An owner can send as many horses as they like at any time.
